Cabernet Camping Choices – A Guide for Hot Dubbers Heading to the Hunter Valley

By March 10, 2017Uncategorized

Park your car, pitch a tent, and come party with us.

It’s come to our attention that a lack of a place to sleep is putting a fork in people’s plans for Wine Machine adventures. It certainly looks like all of the AirBnBs and Stayz have already been scooped up for the weekend of Wine Machine (damn those organised people who book things early!). But if you missed out, your days of drinking and dancing at Wine Dub are not over yet! Why not consider camping? It’s way cheaper, anyway. There’s dozens of awesome (and actually really beautiful) bushland campsites nearby Hope Estate, that are currently available for you and your wino-loving mates to book. Plus we’ve thrown in a list of the last of the non-camping accomodation available, too.

So – load the Hot Dub Mixtape onto your car stereo, enjoy the scenic drive away from citylife and out into the peaceful countryside, park your car, pitch a tent, then come and party with us at Wine Machine.

Now that’s a plan smoother than merlot!

Please note that the Hot Dub staff does not guarantee any of the listings below. You are responsible for contacting each of the campgrounds individually and verifying all information.

LOCAL SHUTTLES

It’s not recommended to drive into the gig at Hope Estate, due to traffic. Instead, take a bus. Rover Coaches run a series of luxe buses through the region with several pick-up points. Check their timetable to see where’s closest to where you’re staying, and book a spot on their coach.
