Hot Dub raids the cellar and brings out his finest friends to the Wine Machine table for your enjoyment – including a very rare pair of classic club Chameleons!

World-beating Sydney audiovisual artist Hot Dub Time Machine (Tom Loud) launched his one-of-a-kind boutique event series Hot Dub Wine Machine – a full-bodied day of gourmet food, fine wine and live music, taking place across a collection of the country’s best wineries – to an overwhelmingly huge response earlier this week, with 70% of all tickets already sold nation-wide. So blown away was Hot Dub and organisers by the instant support for Wine Machine, that they’ve brought forward the line-up announcement a fortnight.

For the coveted headline spot, Hot Dub’s dug deep into this wine cellar and dusted off a vintage classic, that are now perfectly primed for the drinking…Australian music fans – get ready to ‘Embrace’ the huge news that classic Aussie club ‘Chameleons’ PNAU will be playing their first live shows in over five years at all of the Hot Dub Wine Machine events (excl. Tas)! “PNAU are absolute dance music royalty – an act that have always been hugely respected on the Australian dance scene, and by myself as an artist,” says an excited Loud, “Their new track is so strong, and we couldn’t be more honoured to be hosting their live return on our Wine Machine stage – it’s going to be epic!”

PNAU made a mark in the noughties thanks to their forward-thinking, high-energy live shows – and have promised their Australian return to the stage in 2017 will be marked by that same sense of the cutting-edge contemporary that defined their rise.  The new live line-up sees original members Nick Littlemore and Peter Mayes return, joined by a new addition – Nick’s bro Sam Littlemore. The boys’ infectious new track Chameleon (watch the video here) is currently blitzing the Oz airwaves and a surefire contender for triple j’s Top 20 come Hottest 100 time.

As well as partying with PNAU, Wine Machine revelers will be dancing through the decades with Hot Dub himself as he plays his signature set under a ceiling of stars. Revellers receive another rare treat in Miami Horror, Melbourne’s long-time favourite psychedelic indie-electronic adventurers, who’ve been slaying the States the past couple of years and will bring their well-polished live chops to Australian stages for Wine Machine.

The Australian music scene’s A-List are also in tow – a cabernet Franco, of the Young varietal. A Paces Ximenez. A crisp Crooked Colours Chenin Blanc. Running Touch Reserve. A sparkling Tom Tilley, a Confidence Man claret. Dena Amy dessert wine. Cabernet Liz Cambage. A tipple of Tina Says, a Piedmont PileratsSports sherry, and of course, a few DJs from the Chateau de Falconia family  itself.

So it turns out Brisbane does have a couple of wineries. Due to unprecedented demand, Hot Dub Time Machine is happy to announce that Wine Machine will hit Queensland’s Ocean View Estate, in the coastal wine region of Somerset Valley (some 450m above sea level!). Only an hour from the Brisbane CBD, Brisbanites, this is your chance to cruise the Cape, and lap up the luxury lakeside at Ocean View.

Somerset Valley Wine Machine joins the spectacular locations already on the Wine Machine Tour – Sydneysiders will experience the natural amphitheatre at Hope Estate in picturesque Hunter Valley wine country, while Melbournites will road-trip to Rochford Estate, with its sweeping, panoramic views of the Yarra Ranges. The family-owned Home Hill Winery, a former apple orchard in Hobart’s Huon Valley, plays host to Tasmanian Wine Machine, and Houghton Winery, on the lush green banks of the Swan River, has been reserved for W.A.’s wine-lovers.

Escape the big smoke and come un-wine-d with Hot Dub and his carefully curated collection of artists – food, wine, and merry-making in the spirit of a traditional European get-together in the grapevines. We chianti think of a better way to spend a sunshine-soaked, late summers’ day!
